Proud Family

About a week and a half ago Kyle’s family came out to Kansas to watch him graduate from his Masters Program. It was a busy weekend, but it was a blast having them visit our neck of the woods. We especially loved seeing our two nephews, Cole and Mason. They have grown so much since Christmas! Thanks for making the long haul to Manhattan, Kansas Medleys and Bernhards, we hope you had a great time!

Unexpected Beauty

Kyle and I saw a beautiful bridge from the highway, so we went on an adventure to try to find it. We ended up taking a beautiful trail to the bridge only to find that it was lined with a chain link fence. Not quite what we were expecting, but we had a great afternoon and I was even able to snap a few shots.

Konza Prairie

Here are two people that I absolutely adore. Ashley and Quincy Pickering took me under their wing when I moved to Switzerland, and they haven’t gotten rid of me since. They decided to come visit us in Manhattan, and here are a few shots from our hike out at the Konza Prairie.

Just a day at work…

I have to share with you one of the cutest little girls I know. She is in my class, and she is a fireball. Finley keeps us all on our toes, and always puts a smile on our faces. Here are a few pics of her doing what she loves to do best…eat:) We love spaghetti day! (The theme for the week was farm animals, hence the little piggy).

At the aspiring photographers workshop last week Lindsey, Matt, and Parker felt like celebrities as 6 different photographers snapped shots of them at every angle. This amazing couple had their son Parker about 6 months ago. He is  an absolute cutie, and I had a blast capturing all of his different expressions. Here are a few of my favorites.

All Staff BBQ

Last week I was able to capture some shots at Kyle’s all staff BBQ. We had lots of food, lots of fun, and lots of wind! YOu wouldn’t be able to tell by the pictures, but the wind controlled the evening. Paper plates flying, food falling, hair blowing. Despite the wind we all had a great time, and I was able to get some shots of a cute little guy named Brennan.
